ARTIST BIO
Haley Younce is an artist whose current work explores grief and memory through the use of deconstructed textiles. Younce received her BA in art education and MA in studio art from Morehead State University and is currently an MFA candidate at the University of Kentucky. She was awarded the Great Meadows Foundation Travel grant and her work has been exhibited widely including: The Leedy-Voulkos Art Center, ArtFields Competition and Festival, Two/Two/Eight Galleries, Kentucky Folk Art Center, and Artsplace Gallery. Younce’s work can also be found in “The Hand” International Magazine as well as the Inscape Literary and Visual Arts Journal.
Currently, she maintains a studio in Lexington, KY and is an Instructor of Record at the University of Kentucky.
